We do fancy ourselves as quite the beer connoisseur and our choice of ale down the pub is often met with rolling eyes from the lager boys, but that’s what being a discerning gentleman is about is it not? You can imagine our excitement then when we stumbled across this bizarre looking little contraption!

A bunch of beer enthusiasts just like us but from the other side of the Atlantic have invented The Beer Machine, and we’re damn glad they did because this is one Christmas present we’re really looking forward to this year. 7 to 10 days is all it takes to produce your very own keg of ale, they sell a number of different prepackaged beer mixes but for us what is even more exciting is the fact that you can experiment and make up your very own creations….. because after all you’ve always wanted to know what pizza flavoured beer tasted like haven’t you?

If your not quite ready to experiment, the prepackaged mixes have a lot to offer, from American ales (brown, blonde, pilsner, honey etc.) to Irish stouts right over to German and Danish classics, you may never have to buy another crate of ale again! If ever a product was worthy of our “hot” rating then this was it and if any of our faithful readers wanted to get us a present for bringing you all of this amazing stuff then this is it!
