Glasgow based textile design studio, Timorous Beasties, have caused a bit of a stir with this fantastically provocative piece of work, so much so that London’s £26m cultural venue, Rich Mix, pulled it’s use due to community leaders being outraged, but let’s face it, it doesn’t take much to outrage these politically over-correct do-gooders does it? We think that it’s a stroke of genius and a tongue in cheek look at todays society, but then we’re not Daily Mail reading Bourgeoisie masquerading as people who give a shit about art.
Anyway, less of the politics, more of the ’stuff’. This fine specimen of interior design goodness is available in three colours, we just adore the red and pink on cream pictured here, but at £100 a roll we think we’ll be using this for a ‘feature’ wall rather than doing the whole house!
