The space-craft-like iPod dock/speaker unit from uber-stylish hi-fi company Bowers & Wilkins has finally hit the UK shores having been a hit over the Atlantic since late ‘07. Compact enough to move around yet with hi-fi credentials which could place it next to many top end audiophile speaker systems which are not nearly as portable.

The iPod dock allows you to hook up to your TV to transmit images and also has external inputs to use other sources through this stunning speaker. A direct descendant of B&W’s famous 800 series which has been a fixture at the Abbey Road studios since the 1980’s, the quality of sound is undeniable, the design, as you can see from the above image is also without question, the only issue that some may have is the price, but that is simple…. you get what you pay for!
