I’ve never much fancied a cruise, whether it’s the isolation, claustrophobia, dodgy entertainment or onslaught of the blue rinse brigade that makes me shudder at the thought I’m not sure. But then of course I didn’t know about Nomade Yachting before, and now I do, well things have changed! French Polynesia is about getting away from it and if your from the UK like me, then it’s about as pretty damn far away from ‘it’ as you can get. If your going to be in the middle of nowhere, then you need to be in luxury, and boy….. is this luxury.
Specially built to sail through the shallowest of lagoons and fitted with Kenzo interiors, the yachts ensure that you are escorted through the highlights of this remote but beautiful location in pure indulgent luxury. Whilst the extensive facilities and unique touches such as the open air cinema, champagne breakfasts and extravagant moonlight dinners sound like the sort of thing from a Bond flick, there is no need to dress as such because an informal no-ties, casual chic approach is actively encouraged. This, for me, is another of my cruise fears totally shattered which is, as they say, nice.

Experience an intimate atmosphere of informality and casual chic far from the restriction of everyday protocol. It is a world where elegance, serenity and pampering are the only priorities.
Nomade Yachting

While every effort is made by the team to let you see the yacht as your own personal property, if you have a footballers salary and a yearning for ultimate peace and tranquility then why not charter the whole damn thing yourself. Not in the a-list just yet? Then Nomade arrange a number of private excursions which can be arranged on secluded beaches with your very own butler, yes, so you can get a taste for the high life that you may never be able to get over.
