Master of provocative image manipulation, Ben Frost, will be showcasing his work in the UK for the first time courtesy of new temporary space gallery, No Walls. Based in London yet not tied to any physical space, No Walls claim to reflect the transient nature of street art. Ben Frost is a pop art propaganda specialist who uses his collage style to showcase his controversial and mixed feelings towards popular culture and commercialism.
Having faked his own death for the 2000 exhibition/art prank ‘Ben Frost is Dead’, Frost is no newcomer to controversy and his artworks which depict cultural icons such as Bambi and Mickey Mouse in bizarre and provocative situations are sure to raise a few eyebrows at the exhibition which runs from the 26th to 30th September at The Dray Walk Gallery, Old Truman Brewery, London.
