If you really must still use a PC, then this new all-in-one number from Sony is a good way to go about it. Whilst essentially an iMac wannabe, the JS1 does have some tight features of its own, including Sony’s Sound Reality signal processor chip built into the system which handles Super Audio CD sound and can record, edit and play music at SA-CD quality, even offering the capability of upgrading older recordings to the new standard. It’s standard spec is also a bit better than that of the Apple equivalent, packing an Intel Core™ 2 Duo processor, 3GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. As always with VAIO products, the design certainly sets it apart from the rest of the PC crowd and with some great audio capabilities and a beautiful high resolution 20-inch screen, this is a slick machine, it’s only downside then…… of course, it ships with Windows Vista pre-installed.
