This week sees the arrival of another new bar in London, this time located in the basement of The Gainsborough Hotel, South Kensington. Ghost Inc. looks set to stand out from the crowd however. ‘Graffiti Chic’, is the official line for the decor, and it’s gothic interior is certainly one of it’s stand-out points. Designer Robbie Clydesdale and several street artists have decorated the walls, columns and dance floor in bold, dark and moody graffiti.  Faux-antique mirrors of various sizes, black leather studded booths and a graffitied antique table make up the remainder of the outlandish interior.

It’s not just the decor which will set Ghost Inc. apart from other ‘posh’ bars in the area. Ghost Inc. signals the return of the ‘classic’ cocktail bar, with a bible of over 2,000 drinks hanging behind each bar. The extensive cocktail list extends from the classics to more contemporary delights, there is even an entire section of the drinks list dedicated to confectionary-based cocktails, including cocktails made from ingredients such as Krispy Kreme Donuts and Marshmallow Fluff.

Joining their first outing in Northampton, partners David Serlui and Sam King hope that the arrival of their Ghost Inc. brand in the capital will provide enough buzz to move it onto a national scale within the next 18 months, and with experience in establishing bars such as the hugely successful celeb-haunt, Aura, we’ve no doubt that you’ll soon be seeing a lot more of Ghost Inc.
