We’ll be honest, the words ’strict dress code’ usually send us fleeing in the opposite direction, let alone a members club with an application form that reads more like a passport application. But when the design inside is this good, it’s worth considering. One of the most talented designers around today, Tom Dixon, has transformed the top three floors of one of London’s most controversial, and indeed brutal, 60’s concrete skyscrapers into, Paramount, a stunning members club with cutting edge bars, lounges, a restaurant and unrivalled panoramic views of such landmarks as The City, Canary Wharf, Westminster, Primrose Hill and Wembley Stadium.

Whilst this feature may be as much as most will see of Paramount, it’s members policy is promising to be more inclusive than most in the capital. Creative thinking and modern interests are what they insist will be the deciding factors in your membership’s acceptance as they try to include a wider section of 21st-century London, but of course with even out of town memberships costing £400 per annum and London memberships coming in at £750, it will no doubt retain the same level of exclusivity as most of London’s members clubs.
