Ilse Crawford, interior design genius and founder of Elle Decoration magazine is a fan and if that isn’t a good enough seal of approval then, well, we don’t know what is. The Droog Design flagship store in Amsterdam was opened in 2004 but this year they asked artist Franck Bragigand to get involved in splashing some colour around, and as you can see, the results are a breathtaking store interior that looks more gallery than shop. Featuring a full range of their own products, such as the ‘Shady Lace‘ umbrella we featured earlier this year, alongside carefull selected pieces from other leading design studios, the space is also frequently used for exhibitions and events.

With partner stores in Athens, Atlanta, Denver, Istanbul, Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo and Toronto, products on sale in countless international locations, the famous Droog pop-up store having already appeared in Brussells and Milan [pictured] and iconic products such as the Rag Chair [pictured], it’s certain that you won’t be far away from their perspective changing design.

I am a student studying design history at the University of Brighton, and currently studying droog design for a presentation, I would appreciate any information regarding Droog other than what is available in publications and on the web
Kind regards
