Apple’s Mac Book Air may be the world’s thinest, and of course most elegant, laptop, but the UK still has the world’s most annoyingly bulky plug. That’s the problem that Min Kyu Choi’s intuitive attempts to solve with his entry for this year’s James Dyson Award. Whether or not he wins the competition is seemingly irrelevant as it looks like he should easily bag himself a top job at the world’s most prestigious computer manufacturer. His answer to the nagging flaw in plug design is as beautifully designed as it is ingenious and his outrageously astute addons of a multi-plug adapter and USB ports are nothing short of product design genius.

good one but British Standards would be in the way!!!
Take look at this one…This looks more promising and amore of a real product than anything I have seen before.
Zihni Yalcin is the designer and the product is called ThinPlug and ThinCharger.
I first seen it at Red Dot museum in Essen when it won a product design award.
