We like nothing more than a ‘wee dram’ over here at We Heart HQ and as such it was an privilege when the legendary Isle of Jura distillery offered to give our readers the chance to win a new highly limited ’spirit of Jura’ book and a bottle of a bottle of their classic 10 year old island malt…. An artistic collaboration inspired by the beauty and myths of the island of Jura, “DIH-RAH” is a beautiful book produced by celebrated writer John Burnside and artist David Faithful and being limited to only 300, is sure to be a serious collectors item. A medieval method for producing ink from Jura oak galls was emplyed by Faithful for the illustration and the story was the product of Burnside’s month spent at the luxury distillery lodge after being invited to take part in their writers retreat programme, inspired by George Orwell having penned ‘1984′ during his stay on Jura.
Want to ensure you’re in with a chance of winning one of these lovingly produced books and a bottle of the good stuff? Make sure you’re signed up to receive our bi-weekly email newsletter ‘list_’ and wait for tomorrow’s issue…..

What inspires me? Probably the thought that one day, not too far away I’ll be packing in the 9-5 and going where I want when I want.
What am I looking forward to doing the most first? Sipping a nice drink over looking the busy nights streets of Tokyo.
Only a 6 month plan away and I’ll be there…

My children inspire to continually check myself, be right for them. They make me happy, I learn new perspectives on things and most of all remember to be young.
Hope this is the place for comments as I didint see any, but the link in the email brought me here.

My grown up daughters inspire me. Today one of them taught me the basics of HTML coding while playing with her beautiful baby daughter, and the other ran her first half marathon. Truly inspiring young women, both of them, and I know I have to be the best parent I can be in order to deserve them.
