Inspired by the stars of stage, screen and music, both past and present, The Cherry Closet is literally teeming with lovingly selected vintage and retro goodies from the 30s to the 80s with a smidgen of Victorian era thrown in for good measure. Launched last year by fashion obsessive Nicki Jane, you can just feel the passion and character behind the meticulous ‘cherry picking’ of each item of clothing, shoes, handbags, hats and accessories in the ever-growing Closet. With items such as ‘Do It Like Dolly Cropped Cowboy Boots’, ‘Blame It On The Boudoir Long Slip’ and ‘I Gaze At The Sea Maxi Dress’, there is a unique sense of fun about The Cherry Closet that is also evident in their seasonal photoshoots…. and what could be more fun than rummaging through this fabulous vintage closet?
