A long-standing history in soul, funk and disco, Philadelphia may not necessarily be your first port of call for forward thinking post-dubstep electronica, yet, far from Croydon, Bristol or even Glasgow, Philly DJ Starkey has for some time been pushing the wobble-bass boundaries of conventional dubstep in a similarly synth-led fashion to that of Joker, Ikonika, Darkstar and Joy Orbison.
