Whilst something may well have been lost in translation, Romanian architecture, interiors and product design studio – Square One – tell us that their wonderfully stark and geometric interior for a Bucharest fashion store Entrance, was conceived to tell a story, one of “Imaginary animals that abide in a surreal forest, a refuge, a route.” The outcome actually delivers on their promise – the sharp, geometric objects that give the interior it’s unique look, have been designed by ‘illustrating a number of animals in motion’, and the tree-like lighting has been conceived to further enhance this kind of space age, computer game safari scene. Decidedly unique, remarkably diverse… yet ultimately intriguing and beautiful, Square One have delivered an interior of true originality….
