We recently had the pleasure of spending the night at one of London’s iconic Park Lane hotels, the irrepressibly sophisticated, Metropolitan, and with famed style, class and exceptional service all present, we were pleased that the hub of mid-90s cool has lost none of its appeal. The infamous ‘Met Bar’, with its iconic Jonathan Huxley mural, was the epicentre of Britpop’s legendary debauchery – the Gallaghers falling out on a nightly basis – and, even though the ‘paps’ may be camped outside other club doors these days, you can still feel the echo of cool… and that’s consistent throughout the hotel…. when you deliver timeless, cosmopolitan luxury in the way that The Metropolitan does, you can be sure to never lose your way….
