timeless Latin designs inspire Mexican coffee-shop...

Cielito Querido Café, México

Drawing upon Mexican design heritage and inspiration from Latin graphic design of the late 19th to early 20th century – Latin-American sign making fused with the product labels of old grocery stores – Mexican studio, Esrawe – in collaboration with Ignacio Cadena – have created a wonderfully diverse interior for this newly conceived café that, whilst steeped in nostalgia, has it’s very own unique flavour. We’re loving the bold use of pinks and blues, the beautiful fabrics used on the seating, and the splendid fusion of typography that adorns the walls, ceiling and products throughout…

This is an amazing design. Drawing from the local heritage, surrounding nature and more is a great way to design a venue that will appeal to the community clients and make them feel at home. The use of bold colors, wording and textures give this café a modern look and the large seating area with an abundant amount of chairs in different shapes, sizes and colors gives the room a comfortable and welcoming feel. Thanks for the post.

This is a really stunning interior. I love that they have mixed styles and textures so effectively. I really love the floor tiles, they bring a great retro feel to the interior.

    Nice work!

What a fantastic use of colors! I quite like this juxtaposition of bold typography and soft colors. There’s a tinge of cheeky Mexican humour running along here, which is playful and works quite well. I also must say they have fantastic drinks.
