Well, we’re giving in – it’s that time of year again and we can’t hide from it much longer. Kicking us off with the festive season is this multi-sensory installation at Liverpool Street’s Andaz hotel, courtesy of Studiomama founder – Danish-born, East London-based Nina Tolstrup. Creating a unique variation of the Outdoor Kitchen, launched at this year’s London Design Festival, Tolstrup combines vision, taste and smell with warming scents of cinnamon and spice filling the hotel, freshly baked cookies and mince pies being served and a delightful array of wooden star-shaped decorations – of which instructions to build can be found here – completing the utterly festive installation. If this isn’t enough to get you into the Christmas spirit then you could possibly be paid a visit by a trio of apparitions rather soon…
