Quite fittingly for the release of the title track of Goulding’s debut album, ‘Lights’, the creative sorts at Polydor have turned to the undisputed prince of light experimentation, Moritz Waldemeyer, whose sensational “Home Disco” we featured early last year. Having worked with the likes of U2 and Rhianna, Waldemeyer is no stranger to applying his unique lighting technologies to the world of entertainment, and this project – in which he enlisted the help of a group of students from Middlesex University – is quite possibly his most impressive to date, as he fuses his unique LED wands with the bullet time filming technique, throwing in his “Home Disco” dance table, laser drum sticks and LED implanted bouncy balls along the way.
