Opening last week – February 8th – at Chelsea’s one-stop, contemporary lifestyle store, The Shop at Bluebird, was the first retail space for one of the UK’s most exciting young product designers, Lee Broom. The shop within a shop showcases a selection of pieces from the designer, who trained with Vivienne Westwood before graduating from Central St Martins, that you may already be rather familiar with. His disco themed ‘One Light Only‘ collection – that debuted at last September’s London Design Festival – is present, as are his near-iconic-status neon chairs, whilst a new limited edition version of his Decanterlight and a new product, The ‘Decanterlamp’, will debut at the store. Sure to continue Broom’s ascent to superstar-designer status, this rather splendid new outlet of his considerable talents is not to be missed…
