The imposing 5 floor, 55,000 sq ft behemoth that is The Home Quarter continues the regeneration by offering a single destination for 15 leading lifestyle brands such as Roche Bobois, Natuzzi, Calligaris and Boconcept. Bold typographic statements, quotes and wayfinding elements are utilised to great effect throughout the industrial space, designed by London-based Depiction Lab, and the stairwell’s feature lighting is a rather impressive touch. A gallery showcasing local artist’s work, café and rooftop terrace, scheduled to open in the next few months, enhance the experience and prove a worthy incentive to return frequently. If Liverpool’s retail regeneration continues at this pace, it could soon be “squeaky bum time” for its famous north west rival…
