Interiors UK 2012 kicks off on Sunday, at Birmingham’s NEC. We’re looking forward to seeing product designer Stuart Melrose‘s exhibits – in particular his super-cute, furniture-comes-to-life pieces, in collaboration with decidedly splendid textile obsessives, Puff & Flock. Stuart describes their Character Furniture Collection collaboration as telling the story of a boy dreaming of his furniture coming to life, and they’re every bit as naively romantic as that sounds. The Puff & Flock pieces join other collaborations with illustrators Kev Munday and Droog 79, along with a selection of his vivid Corian furniture; to make up what looks set to be the show’s most-likely-to-lift-the-January-blues collection…
