We were treated to a dram of Johnnie Walker’s £150 a bottle Blue Label, a rare 1990 Rosebank and other rich, complex tipples from Glenfarclas, Elmer T Lee and Balvenie. This is exuberant indulgence, it’s Saturday night in with a prime cut of beef fayre.
