We all know how important the greenery in our environment is for us. We simply cannot live without it; yet, our homes often act as if it didn’t exist – aside from the countless dead trees that furnish it. The students of University of Gothenburg’s Steneby School of Craft and Design presented a series of solutions to this environmental conundrum at last week’s Stockholm Design Week.

How can we bring green into our homes in a more engaging, interactive way? From Felix Wink’s planter chair, through to Per Ingvad’s bold concept of travelling with your plants, Grow – 2012 offered up a splendid diversity of innovative, engaging – and, above all, fun – responses to our ever-growing disassociation with the outdoors.
