Someone was reading a magazine the other day at work and I was attentively playing the role of annoying individual who reads over their shoulders. A recipe caught my eye so I swiped the magazine out their hands, pocketed the recipe and before they knew it the magazine was put back in their hands. Quicker than a subliminal message.

Wild Boar may not be something commonly associated with the Cotswolds, holiday homes and cider yes, but gourmet Italian style Wild Boar Salami and Wild Boar meat supplied to Michelin Star chefs, probably not. As curious as it may seem however, The Real Boar Company raise pure bred Wild Boar on in their farm which consists of 20 acres of mixed woodland and grasses at the edge of the Cotswolds. Their boar are present on the menus of restaurants totaling an impressive 13 Michelin stars and if you want to try some for yourself loin, haunch and sausages direct from their website. The real star of the show however is their sensational Wild Boar Salami.
