Designed by Carnovsky – aka Milan based design duo Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla – for Italian wallpaper manufacturer, Jannelli & Volpi, and debuting recently as part of their showcase at Milan’s Design Week, RGB is a hauntingly gothic collection of wallpapers that show an array of chilling images, depending upon the colour of light shone at it…. Perhaps not the sort of thing for your own boudoir, yet nonetheless, a visual treat for interior designers searching for innovative and stimulating products for contemporary public spaces…..

Somebody must have been listening last time we complained about not receiving enough ‘cool stuff’ in the post as we were lucky enough recently to receive some gorgeous sample books from a new wallpaper designer, Beware the Moon. High-end, niche and avant garde, Beware the Moon is the brainchild of wallpaper designer John Wakefield and his daughter Louise, who has a background in property renovation and photography. A shared passion for travel and obscure interests such as atomic bombs, plastic guitars, sharks and microlights led to this fruitful creative collaboration, where the pair are aiming to push the industry’s boundaries through subtly outrageous designs and a ‘no expense spared’ approach to achieving their creative vision through unique paints, effects and finishes.
